"Homosexuals are inferior to dogs and pigs, says Iranian cleric"

"An influential Iranian cleric who is entitled to issue juristic rulings according to the Sharia law, has condemned western lawmakers involved in the decriminalisation of homosexuality, saying those politicians are lower than animals."

Honestly, I’m getting very sick of talking about this. Hatred towards the gay community, especially in the Middle East and Islamic countries, is just absurd. They are being hanged, tortured, spat on and exiled. Why? Simply because they love a person. That is all. Seriously. Apparently this love is not allowed because its deemed “unhealthy” and “unnatural”. Why would you give a fuck what someone else is doing as long as its not affecting you. Did this homosexual person harass people? If yes then they have all the right to complain. Did this homosexual person force people into doing things you don’t want to do? If yes then they have all the right to complain.

But all these people didn’t do anything to personally harm anyone. They are simply loving a person of the same sex. Reading articles like this just infuriates me. This ignorant and unlogical hatred towards the homosexual is something I will never understand.

Its just like saying “I hate you because you prefer chocolate milk over banana milk.”

Absurd.

“Phyllis Siegel, 76, left, and Connie Kopelov, 84, both of New York, embrace after becoming the first same-sex couple to get married at the Manhattan City Clerk’s office.”

This is truly beautiful, seeing two souls deeply in love with each other finally getting married. Very heart warming.
